FuelCloud reached a major milestone last week when we moved into our brand new headquarters in Hillsboro, Oregon. We’ve come a long way since the first CloudBox was dreamed up in a dorm room, and our newly constructed building is a testament to all of the work we’ve done over the last 7 years.
Our new HQ is roughly 5100 square feet, with dedicated warehouse and workshop space for us to manage Shipping and RMAs more efficiently. The workspaces are designed for easy collaboration between teams without creating too much disruption through the building.
We’ve sprinkled reminders of our commitment to technology throughout the office, from our top-of-the-line tech setup to prominent postings of our 3 US Patents.
Each of our meeting rooms is named after a notable Oregon landmark: Mount Hood; the Willamette, Columbia, and Rogue Rivers; and Bandon and Cannon beaches.
We do our best to play as hard as we work, so naturally the office includes a full bar. Our director of product, Sarah Ferraro, has designed some custom cocktails that celebrate notable highlights (and lowlights) from our past - the Blue Box Special is particularly good…
While recognizing our progress is great, we’re also excited to be moving into a new home because of what it means for our future. With space for a growing team and better technical capabilities to handle even more customers, our HQ will play an important part in shaping the future of FuelCloud for years to come.
